When the collaboration began with Sly Dog Camera, I could not help but study a communication that was relevant to my activity, or recipes for very easy to perform and simple dogs with ingredients that we all have in the house. I'll explain: The smart camera is a beautiful and discreet-furnishing room-with which you can remotely control your dogs when they are home alone. It is a gift for them, because you can check that they are well and make him feel your presence, but it is also a gift for you because to see them serene and happy is contagious! The room is controlled by your phone, with which you can record and photograph the filming, talk with the dogs through voice activation and "throw" the kibbles that are inside the sly… Too funny! And here, my dear, I enter into play with my "sly tidbits" or croquettes with pumpkin for cunning Dog Camera. But they obviously go well as snacks in general.
To make them I used three ingredients: Steamed pumpkin (You can use the one already ready), flour (rice or wheat 00 or wholemeal) and extra virgin olive oil. I got small croquettes, that can pass from the dispenser of the sly, but of course you can make them even bigger and the shape you want!
Pumpkin croquettes: Ingredients
- Steamed pumpkin or boiled 50 g
- 00 flour or wholemeal) 100-120 G *
- Extra virgin olive oil 2 teaspoons
To make these croquettes to pumpkin for crafty DPG room, I opted for the pumpkin Delica steam but you can safely use the already boiled that sell at the supermarket: In this case, however, the amount of flour could increase, depending on the amount of water Present in the pumpkin you will use. In a bowl, crush the pumpkin with a fork and add the oil, then combine little flour at a time. In the end you have to get a malleable dough, similar to the one for the gnocchi or a pastry a bit sticky. Coat of arms and working tools-bowl dough, wheel, scissors or a knife-get some dough salamis and cut them in order to make small kibble. They must be no bigger than 5-8 millimeters. You just have to distribute them on a dripping pan lined with baking paper, and bake them in a pre-warmed static oven at 175 °c for 20-25 minutes. Try to dry well, maybe leaving them in the oven off when cooking is finished until it cools.
* You can also use rice flour, but in this case you will have to increase the doses considerably to obtain a malleable dough.
You can keep your croquettes to the pumpkin for weeks, tightly closed in an envelope or in an airtight container. You can freeze them.
- The pumpkin is one of the most good vegetables for the organism of dogs: light and nutritious
- The croquettes are very small and crispy: You can integrate some of them to your dog's moist food!
